Version effective from 16 May 2026. Applies to the Privé mobile app for iOS and Android. The browser game is covered by a separate document.

The short version

  • Privé is an app for couples, for adults only (18+). It contains intimate content.
  • The app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play. Some features are free; the full set is unlocked by a Premium subscription.
  • Current subscription prices are shown in the app, in the App Store, or in Google Play. We may run promotions or price tests — the binding price is always the one shown to you at checkout.
  • You manage your subscription in your Apple or Google account settings — and that is also where you cancel it.
  • You can delete your account at any time from within the app.
  • Questions and complaints: prive@privegame.com. We respond within 14 days.

I. Who is who

  • We (Privé, the "provider") — elnino Paweł Gniadkowski, Sygneczów 311, 32-020 Sygneczów, Poland, VAT ID: PL5732576742. Contact: prive@privegame.com.
  • You (the "user") — the person using the Privé mobile app on iOS or Android.
  • App — the Privé mobile application distributed through the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Google). The app connects to our servers to let two people play together as a couple.
  • Couple — you and your partner, linked in the app using an invitation code.
  • Premium / Subscription — paid, automatically renewing access to extended features of the app (for example, unlimited dares, the wishlist, or the Privé Go! mode).
  • App Store / Google Play — the app stores operated by Apple and Google. Subscription payments are processed through these stores — Apple and Google are not party to the contract between you and us, they are the providers of the payment and distribution platform.

II. General provisions

  • These terms describe the rules for using the Privé app on iOS and Android, and the rights and obligations of you and us.
  • By downloading and launching the app you accept these terms. If you do not agree with any of the points, please do not install the app — or uninstall it.
  • In addition to our terms, the terms of the store you used to download the app (App Store or Google Play) also apply to you. For matters relating to downloading, installation and payment, those store terms take precedence.
  • Nothing in these terms limits your consumer rights under mandatory law. If any provision conflicts with such law, the law takes precedence.

III. Age and responsibility

  • The app may be used only by adults (18 years old or above).
  • By accepting these terms you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
  • The app contains intimate content intended for adults. This content is part of the experience between partners and must not be shared with third parties, especially minors.
  • If we learn that the app is being used by a person under 18, we may block their access and remove their data.

IV. Technical requirements

  • A phone running iOS or Android in a version still supported by the producer (see the app description in the store).
  • An active internet connection — some features will not work without it.
  • The ability to receive push notifications (if you grant permission) — this is how you know right away when your partner sends you something.
  • An App Store or Google Play account — if you want to buy a Premium subscription.
  • Very old operating system versions may not be supported — in that case, new versions of the app may be unavailable to download or may not work correctly.

V. How the game works

  • Onboarding. When you launch the app, you answer a few intro questions and choose the intensity level of the content.
  • Linking a couple. The first person creates the couple; the second joins using a code or a link from their partner. Most features only work once both are linked.
  • Compatibility quiz. Both of you answer questions about your preferences. The app compares the answers and shows a compatibility report along with shared activities. We never show your partner your individual answers — only the shared conclusions.
  • Dares. You can send dares to each other from the catalog. The free version has a limit; the Premium version removes it.
  • Wishlist and Privé Go! You browse activities and tag the ones you like. The app shows you mutual matches. Privé Go! lets you quickly plan something for "here and now".
  • Settings. The intensity level and the list of excluded categories (blacklist) are set together. Any significant change requires the other person's consent.
  • No artificial intelligence. Compatibility results and activity suggestions are calculated using our own algorithm that compares both partners' answers. We do not use artificial intelligence or language models for this.

VI. Premium subscription

  • The app works on a freemium model: some features are free, and the full set is unlocked by a Premium subscription.
  • We offer different subscription variants (for example, periodic or lifetime access). Current variants and their prices are shown in the app and in the store (App Store or Google Play) at checkout.
  • We may occasionally run promotions, price tests and introductory offers — the binding price is always the one shown to you at checkout.
  • Automatic renewal. Periodic subscriptions (for example, monthly or annual) renew automatically for the next period unless you turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period — in line with the App Store and Google Play rules.
  • Managing your subscription. You can see the status of your subscription, its renewal and cancellation in the settings of your Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) account. Removing the app from your phone does not cancel the subscription.
  • Premium for both sides of the couple. The subscription is linked to the couple — so both of you enjoy Premium features, no matter who paid.

VII. Payment and right of withdrawal

  • Subscription payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under the terms of the relevant store. We do not store your card details.
  • Once you pay for a subscription, Premium access is granted immediately. For this reason — in line with article 38 point 13 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act — you lose the right to withdraw from the contract once the service starts being provided.
  • By placing the order and accepting these terms, you expressly consent to the digital service starting immediately after payment, before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, and you acknowledge that as a result you lose your right of withdrawal to the extent the service has already been delivered to you.
  • This does not limit your rights if the service is faulty — see the "Complaints" section below.
  • Refunds. Refunds are issued by Apple or Google under the App Store and Google Play terms. We do not handle these refunds. If the issue is with how the app works, write to us first — we will try to fix it, and if needed we will guide you through the next steps.
  • If you need an invoice for a subscription, write to prive@privegame.com within 90 days of the purchase, with your invoicing details and the purchase confirmation (App Store / Google Play receipt).

VIII. Complaints

  • If the app does not work properly, or a Premium feature was not activated despite a paid subscription, you have the right to file a complaint. Write to prive@privegame.com and include:
    • a description of the problem (ideally with the date it occurred),
    • your operating system and app version,
    • the store order ID (if it is about payment),
    • the email address we should reply to.
  • We respond within 14 days of receiving your complaint.
  • If your complaint is upheld, we will fix the problem, restore access or — if that is not possible — guide you through how to get a refund through the App Store or Google Play.
  • As a consumer in the European Union, you may also use out-of-court ways of resolving complaints and claims, including the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, as well as consumer assistance bodies in your country of residence.

IX. Notifications

  • The app may send push notifications — for example about a received dare, a partner's reaction, a wishlist match or a game invitation.
  • You can grant or revoke notification permission at any time in your phone's system settings.
  • During an active session (for example, when both of you are using the app) the app connects to our server in real time so events show up immediately. This can increase mobile data usage.
  • Notifications are part of how the service works — we do not use them to send third-party advertising.

X. Personal data

XI. Deleting your account

  • You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Account). After deletion, your personal data is removed in line with our privacy policy; data needed for accounting (for example, proof of purchase) may be kept for as long as required by law.
  • Deleting your account does not automatically refund a paid subscription — refunds are handled under the App Store or Google Play terms.
  • If you delete your account, your partner will be notified in the app, to avoid confusion in the game.

XII. Copyright

  • All elements of the app — questions, dares, descriptions, graphics, the matching algorithm — are our property or licensed to us.
  • You may not copy, distribute or use them outside the app without our consent.
  • Of course you may discuss your results with your partner — that is a natural part of using the app.

XIII. Security

  • The app connects to our servers over an encrypted channel. Passwords and session data are stored securely on the device, using the security features offered by the operating system.
  • You may not: bypass security measures, try to interfere with the app or the servers, impersonate other accounts, or try to find security vulnerabilities. If you happen to find one — please report it to prive@privegame.com.
  • If a significant security or data incident occurs, we will inform you in line with applicable law.

XIV. Changes to these terms

  • We may update these terms — for example, when laws change, or when the app's features or the way our subscriptions work change.
  • We will announce significant changes at least 14 days in advance in the app (for example, with a message on launch) or by email (if we have your email address).
  • Changes do not affect contracts already entered into — if you bought lifetime access before a change, you keep using it on the terms in force at the time of purchase. For periodic subscriptions, a change may take effect from the next billing period, after we have notified you about it.
  • Minor changes that do not affect your rights (for example, editorial corrections or contact details) may take effect on publication.

XV. Liability and final provisions

  • We aim to keep the app stable, but for technical reasons there may be short outages — for example due to maintenance, incidents, force majeure or outages on the App Store / Google Play side.
  • The app may require updates. Very old versions may be phased out over time — we will let you know in advance.
  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from using the app contrary to these terms, from the actions of third parties, or from factors beyond our control. We do not exclude liability where mandatory law does not allow us to — in particular towards consumers.
  • These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes are heard by the court that has jurisdiction under applicable law; if you are a consumer, you may also bring claims before the court of your place of residence. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of habitual residence continue to apply.
