Shared curiosity, shared shyness
In an anonymous quiz, each partner rated intimate activities on their own. Neither saw the other’s answers. This is how often both wanted the same thing and both picked the shy yes.
How many activities get a shy yes from both
For each couple, the number of activities where both, answering separately, chose “Yes, but I’m shy about it.” 73% of couples have none, 27% have one or more.
Plenty of interest, few matching shy yeses
Among the activities an average couple rates, most are wanted by at least one partner. Far fewer by both openly. Rarest of all is the double shy yes, when both want it and both feel shy.

Method
Both partners completed the whole quiz separately, never seeing each other’s answers. For each activity (with a plain description and illustration) they picked one of four answers: “Definitely no”, “If my partner wants”, “Yes, but I’m shy about it” and “Love this!”. A couple counts on an activity only when both independently chose “Yes, but I’m shy about it.” Anonymized and aggregated; no response can be traced to a person or couple.
